National Guild Dinner 2024

  • The Liner Hotel Lord Nelson Street Liverpool, L3 5QB United Kingdom (map)

BOOKINGS NOW CLOSED!

The National Guild of St Stephen Altar Servers’ Dinner will be held at the Liner Hotel, Lord Nelson Street, Liverpool, L3 5QB on Friday 6th September, 2024 at 7.30pm.

All altar servers and their families are encouraged to come to this meal (servers under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult). Altar Servers who are not members of the Guild of St Stephen are also most welcome and encouraged to attend.

We are delighted that the principal guest of honour and key speaker will be His Grace, Most Rev. Malcom McMahon, Archbishop of Liverpool, Vice President of the Catholic Bishops’ Conference and Chair of the Catholic Education Service.

Servers who have received the Guild’s Gold medal in the last year are especially encouraged to attend - to meet the Archbishop and to have a special photograph with him. A server trivia quiz for each table is also planned and prizes will be given for the winning team. On a practical note, as we must hold the dinner on a Friday evening, so people can travel, and the weekend is ahead etc., as this is a special celebratory occasion, the Archbishop of Liverpool has granted a meat dispensation.

We have chosen a fixed menu at £30.00 for adults and £18 for those aged 12-16. There is a separate fixed menu for children under 12 at a cost of £12.50, all detailed in the downloads below.

Please let us know numbers of adult and child bookings on the reply slip and together with menu choices and payment by Monday 26th August, 2024.

Cheques are payable to Guild of St Stephen and any queries and replies should be addressed to Rose Curry – rosecurry@guildofststephen.org / 07932 729896.
